I got some new clothes.

I’ve got some new clothes. Well, blog clothes (sometimes they call them skins or themes) but really, they’re clothes.

I’ve updated the blog a bit, in case you haven’t noticed already. Yessir, the blog is gonna change. Everything’s gonna be put on electricity and run on a open source basis. Out with the mumbo-jumbo, the superstitions and the backward ways. You’re gonna see a brave new blog where they run everyone a wire and hook us all up to a grid. Yessir, a veritable age of reason.

In the coming months (maybe we’ll see how it goes) I’d like to position this photo biz as an exclusive bridal photography company. I think that’s where most of my strengths are as a photographer, and so why not focus on just doing that? I read a book by Tim Ferris the other day, well, I’m half way through reading it, and it’s awesome.

I’ll yak more about it later, but one of the things he mentioned that I thought was insightful was how we look at our lives. He said most people want to find happiness, but that we mistake happiness for something that it’s not. What it is (happiness), according to Ferris, is being excited about something. What’s something you do that you’re excited about doing? I can cross hello kitty island adventure off my list, and that leaves me with photographing brides.

So, we’ll see how that goes.

goodnight, internet.

Thanks, Jason. It feels a lot less cluttered ’round these parts.
