Her name is Daisy Mai Montgomery III, and she’s a cat. Daisy entered our lives almost a year ago, and we’ve been so happy with her since then. Well, my wife has been happy with her; I’ve been mildly tolerant of her obvious faults (it’s the christian thing to do).
I was testing out a new flash system I purchased, and Daisy decided that she needed to have her picture taken, too. As she was striking a pose, I fired the flash away, and the photo above is what you see from that one moment. The title of the photo is simple: Cat Beauty. It’s not the best photo, but it’s the best photo of her taken that day.
I wondered to myself as Daisy was displaying her beauty for the world to see: does she realize that these are some of the best moments of her life? She gets pampered by my wife, she doesn’t have to do anything but sleep in the sunshine, she’s the center of attention, and she gets her afternoon cat walks almost every other day, weather permitting of course.
I don’t know if she does or not, but I know that these are the best days for me, because I’m still breathing, baby.

In behalf of cat owners everywhere, I applaude your tolerance. Some are not quite so Christian.

Cat’s are so funny. All they do is lay around all day in the sun and then wait for their handlers to pet them. Dang I wish I could be a cat.
Thanks for you comments, guys and gals :-)
