Daily City Photo Blogs

October 9th, 2007 · 4 Comments · Photos

I’m a big fan of Daily City Photo Blogs. Essentially, bloggers post a photo a day of their city. It’s such a great way to see the cities from far away places through the eyes of the people that live there everyday. You can even search the photo blogs by map: dailyphotomap. So far, here’s a short list of my favorites. I like them because of the city that they’re in and because of the photography. I’ll post more as I find them.

Iceland Daily Photo
Reykjavik, Iceland
Menton Daily Photo - Menton, France
Avignon Daily Photo - Avignon, France
Brienne La Vieille Daily Photo - Brienne-le-Château, France
Real daily photo- Roquemaure, France
Montpellier Daily Photo Montpellier, France

Anyway, those are just a few that I enjoy on a daily basis. I’ll post more as I find them. Also, I’ll be starting my Provo daily photo here soon.

There are so many great city photo blogs. One of my other favorite is http://www.tweeduizend.be ; showing the better corners of Antwerp. ‘tweeduizend’ stands for ‘two thousand’, which is the city’s zip code. Like it especially of the high quality of the images. Lacks some extra words though..

I love that tweeduizend.be Thanks for sending me the link. I wish it were in English so I could understand it more, but already the pictures are worth the visit.

These are really cool! I had no idea they existed. What a fun project. I’m tempted to join in the fun and show off our corner of North Carolina. I look forward to seeing Provo through your photo lens!

Hi Katrina! Thanks for commenting on the blog. I check these sites out everyday, and it’s so interesting to see what’s going on in other parts of the world. I’m partial to European countries, but there’s so many other places to see.

I’d love to see North Carolina through your lens. Let me know when you get it going and I’ll put it up on the list.
