I remember happening upon Mr. Carter’s photographs a couple of years ago. OMG. That’s a little of what was going through my mind as I looked over his work. I especially enjoy his photographs of Italy. If you’d like, you can spend some money on one of his workshops; I’ve heard they’re quite amazing.

Wow. His work is mesmerizing, haunting. I just spent forever looking at his photographs and reading his biography and completely understand your initial reactions to his work. The photographs and his personal journey are inspiring and I long to plaster my walls with his images if only I could. I’m sure he would be amazing to learn from.

Well, if you have a few extra hundred dollars, you could purchase one of his prints at PhotoEye where some of his work is represented. I’d like to save up one day and get one of his italian images. Someday. Someday.
