I really do appreciate the feedback. I like to try different things with the photographs from time to time, but you’re never really sure how it’s going to go over with the public. Anyway, I think these patterns would be fun in an album. Trying to display the photos the best way possible is always a fun challenge.
IMHO — and not to detract from what you are doing — A simple background is the least distracting and most complimentary for photography (or any imagery for that matter). Your photos are gorgeous, if I had a vote — I know I don’t — I’d say you don’t need any patterns.

I agree. I really like minimal design, and I don’t think you could get any more minimal than a simple background.
