I’ve got some good news, and I’ve got some bad news. The bad news: it appears that my trusty iMac G5 has crashed. I know, I know, it’ll be alright, but still it kinda hurts. I’m not exactly sure what’s wrong with it, but my sources tell me it has something to do with the flux capacitor.
Well, because my mac is down, that means I can’t edit any photos. All my photo editing software is on that machine, so instead I get to use my trusty PC laptop. Also, with the added time, I decided to launch a website that I’ve been wanting to do for quite sometime: PhotoblogMagazine.com I love photoblogs, but there really isn’t a place on the net that showcases them, or gives you a link to the best ones out there. Well there is now :-)
I hope it does well, but if not, at least I’ll enjoy it. It’s still very much in the beta stage; it took me only 2 days to create, so there are still quite a few bugs to work out. But it’s still a lot of fun, and I thought I’d give you a sneak peak at it.

update: I’ve since moved the site and changed it to a showcase that highlights photoblogs: www.photoblogshowcase.com you can go there and vote for your favorite.

@Dan: I was still working on the code when I accidently erased something quite important, at least that’s what I found out when the whole site when down :-) But it should be fixed now (are you still seeing the error?) Thanks for the comment!
@Sinclair: You so crazy. That was great working on the site with you. Oh, and for the life of me, I can’t get spring to come quick enough to Utah. Still working on that one.

saying that your mac has died and that you are using your “trusty” PC laptop is like letting the world in on private family issues.
im fairly hurt. how can your loved ones become so easily replaced? they wouldnt be loved ones if they werent imperfect at times….

@Bryan: perhaps I have said too much…
I really do like using the mac; I have a 17 inch screen on that bad boy, but it’s crashed twice on me already and it’s only been about a a year since I’ve had it. So, in the words of my favorite cultural icon, Donald Trump, I’d have to say to my ‘trusty’ mac: you’re fired!
Just joking. I really enjoy using the mac. I can’t wait to get it back so I can hold it in my arms once again.

well.. you know… there are bishops that are flaky, the vast majority arent… but the one that fornicates and gets EXed… well you never really talk about it in public circles. i feel sorry for your two bad experiences… but, as well.. its about love and karma… the child thats always told their stupid, and then they end up stupid (or at least believing they are). the poor wife thats told shes fat all the time so she never has the strength to lose weight.
(and all under the banner of my hands that type on this loved powerbook. for shame!)
i do look forward to when you two meet up again so you can indeed, embrace and makeup.

So true. I hope that doesn’t mean I’m suffering my Mac problems because I speak evils of it. Oh great, time to change my ways again.
Zach’s been a big help in getting my computer gear fixed whenever it breaks down, so Zach, you’re due for some indian food karma any day now.
