I went to the Provo’s Farmers Market this morning. Provo’s Farmers Market is held each Saturday at Pioneer Park 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It’s not far from center street in Provo. It was a beautiful sunny day, and I got to go with my son to check out the market for the first time this year. It was great to see all the various vendors. There’s a lot of crafts to choose from, and a handful of food vendors. I wish there were more food vendors, actually, but maybe they’ll be there another week. You could pick up a bag of cherries for $5, eggs for $3 a dozen, and some raspberries and blueberries. I wish I would have brought a stroller with me to haul some of the food around. There were a few photographers and artists that were selling their photos and paintings. I was this close to picking up some herbs. Next time!
I’ve gone previous years, and they had the market in the parking lot across from Pioneer park, but the market is now in the park, which was great. Being able to walk underneath the shade trees made it a really enjoyable experience. Here’s a map.
