I’m creating a new program: Tell me your passion or expertise in life, and I’ll build you a website.
What’s the program: I’m looking for people that are passionate about a subject, any subject, and want to have a website based upon that passion. I’ll build a website around your passion, market your website, and deliver people to your website’s door, so you can enjoy your passion with them, and make some money on the side.
What do you get:
1) Domain name
2) Hosting
3) A website
4) Email Account
4) Marketing
5) Technical support
6) Money from ads (50-50 split with me on ad revenue)
What it costs you:
1) Your time (you are the one responsible for the content, so you have to have enough time to do this. Usually, one post a day is excellent, and a post can be a couple of paragraphs long)
2) Dedication to the project (I need to have a verbal commitment that you will stay with the project for at least 6 months. That’s usually how long it takes to get a website running smoothly with great content)
3) At least 2-3 posts a week (again, the posts can be as little as one paragraph, or as long as two pages)
What type of passion am I looking for? I’m looking for everything and anything. Do you love toy trains, teaching, trading, technology, time machines, photography, television, sci-fi books, painting, news, politics, scrapbooking, movies, books, music, banking, boxing, finance, accounting, etc., Then I want to work with you on creating a site around that passion. When people are passionate about something in life, that passion rubs off on others, and we all benefit from their dedication to that one thing.
How does it work? Send me an email describing your passion and what you want to do. If I can turn that passion into a website, I’ll build you a website that will facilitate that passion. Sometimes this can take as little as a day, or as long as a couple of weeks. It depends on what your passion is and how I can facilitate it.
How can I my website be built for free? The website is not free. It will cost you 50% of the ad revenue that the site will generate. This will cover my costs, and help to market your site so others can find it. I’ll make the initial investment of my time and services with the knowledge that your passion and my skills will work for both of us.
How much money can I make? At the beginning, not much. Perhaps a couple dollars a day. But it all depends on how dedicated you are to your site, and the content that you generate for it. On the internet, content is king. That means that at the end of the day, people will visit your site because of the things you write. If you’re passionate about what you write, then other’s will want to read it, and they’ll return. There is a possibility that you can make more than a thousand dollars a month from your site, but this will take time and dedication. If you’re committed to your passion and making the site work, then I want to work with you.
Why help people develop their passions? That’s what I do. I facilitate people’s passions. Every single person is unique. Each person has a way of looking at the world that is unique to them, and it’s this uniqueness that I want to bring out. I have a philosophy on life that values the individuality of each person, and I understand that it’s this uniqueness and particular insight that will benefit all of us. When one person decides that they will share the uniqueness they have inside, the rest of us benefit from that person’s understanding. No one else sees the world quite like they do, and this allows us to have different and varied perspectives on all sorts of things. These varied perspectives will enhance our lives and make it richer, as well as help us solve problems that we face as individuals and as communities.
