If you’re looking for a good Utah wedding photographer, here are a couple suggestions (of course I’m rather biased, being a wedding photographer in Utah myself), but here ya go:
1) Make sure you get to keep all your photos
This is something that not all people are aware of, but they should probably know. Most photographers keep the rights to the photos, so they can make additional money by charging you for extra prints of your photos. So, if you’re going to choose a Utah wedding photographer, make sure that you get to keep your photos from your day.
2) Be sure that the person you hire is the one that’s going to shoot your wedding.
Some photographers run large studios, and they bring brides in based on their work, but they get so booked that they hire out other photographers to photograph weddings they don’t have time to shoot. Make sure the that the images you like correspond to the photographer that will shoot your wedding.
3) Make sure that you get along with your photographer.
Most photographers in Utah are great. But there’s always a couple that are a little difficult to work with, and that may make a stressful time a bit more stressful. If you get along with your photographer, it’s going to make the whole wedding process more enjoyable. Friendliness is virtue :-)
When my friends or relatives ask me what they should look for, these are the three major things I usually tell them. There are tons of great Utah wedding photographers, and this might help you make a more informed decisions when choosing the one to photograph your wedding day.
